Isolation kindness

COVID 19 kindness resources

We know that being stuck inside during the COVID19 restrictions can be really tough, especially since the schools are shut too!

So, our amazing School’s duo Karen and Charlotte have been working hard, and have produced 7 Kindness Activities for you to do at home! Every day, for a week, they will be releasing a new printable activity for you to do as a family, or even just on your own as an adult! They may be designed for kids, but adults can definitely do them too!

They’ll be released daily on our social media channels, and added here too, so if you miss a day, don’t worry, you can come back and catch up!

Here are Karen and Charlotte to tell you all about your week of Kindness Activities.

Daily Printable Activities

Tuesday

Day 1 of our 7 Day Kindness Activities is a “Gratitude Diary”. Taking some time out of our day to think about things we’re grateful for, reminds us of the good things in our lives. Gratitude, and reflecting on our thoughts and feelings is a great form of “Self Kindness”.

Here is your activity to download. Just click on each image, right click and choose “save image to downloads” if you’re on a computer. Or press to open, and then press and hold on the image and choose “save image”, if you’re on a portable device.

(This activity has an activity page and an explanation of how to complete it. Download and print both!)

Wednesday

Day 2 of our 7 Day Kindness Activities is “Kindness Bingo”.

There is an adult version and a kid’s version, so fun for the whole family. You can either do ALL of the activities, or try for 4 in a row. Spread it out over a week, or month. Or have a competition as a family! Take pictures as you go, and create a scrapbook at the end, with pictures of all the kindness you’ve spread in this activity and all of the activities!

Here is your activity to download. Just click on each image, right click and choose “save image to downloads” if you’re on a computer. Or press to open, and then press and hold on the image and choose “save image”, if you’re on a portable device.

(This activity has a kid’s version and an adult version, and a downloadable certificate to print off when Bingo is complete! Download and print them all!)

Day 3 of our 7 Day Kindness Activities is “Kindness Station”.

We all have days where we need a bit of extra support and love, and so today we’re asking you to create a space in your house for a “Kindness Station”. Grab a pot, or a bowl or a bucket, and start to fill it with folded strips with positive words, activities, happy drawings, so that any time a member of your household is sad and needs a pick-me-up, they can take a strip and change their day to great!

Here is your activity to download. Just click on each image, right click and choose “save image to downloads” if you’re on a computer. Or press to open, and then press and hold on the image and choose “save image”, if you’re on a portable device.

(This activity has an activity page and a space paper page! You can download and print both as many times are you like.)

Day 4 of our 7 Day Kindness Activities is “Positive Thoughts”.

We are all prone to scary thoughts during this time, but being able to isolate those thoughts, take the scary and turn it into a positive thought, can really change your emotions. Today we’re looking at taking the thoughts that we have that are scary and turning them around.

Here is your activity to download. Just click on each image, right click and choose “save image to downloads” if you’re on a computer. Or press to open, and then press and hold on the image and choose “save image”, if you’re on a portable device.

Day 5 of our 7 Day Kindness Activities is “Positivity Pants”.

Sometimes we need to stop and think about the positive things about ourselves. On your activity sheet, you have a big pair of positivity pants. Grab some pens and write down all the good things about YOU. (Then you can swap with the rest of your family and write on the positive things you see in them too!)

Here is your activity to download. Just click on the image, right click and choose “save image to downloads” if you’re on a computer. Or press to open, and then press and hold on the image and choose “save image”, if you’re on a portable device.

We hope you’ve enjoyed your week of Kindness Activities, and you’ll continue some of these on, over the next few weeks. Why not make a scrap book filled with pictures of your activities, and acts of kindness,  that you can keep adding to, during isolation time? We’d love to see what you’ve been getting up to, so don’t forget to send us your stories too!

And if you have any other ideas of things we can do to help you during this time, please get in touch!

With love, Karen and Charlotte (Kazzle and Chazzle!) x

Stories inspire and encourage us to keep going, and keep being kind! If you have a story to tell, we’d LOVE to hear it. Tell us all about what you’re getting up to, send up pictures and videos. Or tag us on social media!
